A total of seven runners have been declared for the Group 3 Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York racecourse this Wednesday, with John Gosden’s HIGHGARDEN and Ralph Beckett’s CEILIDHS DREAM currently disputing the lead in the betting for the 3yo fillies-only contest.

HIGHGARDEN a smart daughter of Nathaniel, who holds entries for the Ribblesdale and Darley Irish Oaks, will have to reverse recent form against GIVE AND TAKE, trained by William Haggas, after finishing a respective third and second in a fillies Novice Stakes at Sandown last month.

CEILIDHS DREAM comfortably broke her maiden at Newmarket in her only start this season whilst other notable runners include LUBINKA and the Hugo Palmer trained EXPENSIVE LIAISON, bought at Tattersalls Book 1 October Yearling Sale for 155,000 guineas by joint owner Tim Gredley from Ringfort Stud.

Ralph Beckett commented; “It is a step up in class for her, but I was very pleased with her win at Newmarket last time. She has been working well at home and hopefully this will prove a good indicator for some later season targets.”

The next sale scheduled to take place at Tattersalls is the July Sale, Europe’s premier midsummer sale, 11th-13th July.
