Whilst Epsom’s Derby meeting might be denied the presence of the injured Enable, her stable mate Cracksman looks set to return to the scene of his Derby third, with a run in the Investec Coronation Cup.

The colt went on to land the Great Voltigeur Stakes and Prix Niel and made a triumphant return to action when landing the Group One Prix Ganay at ParisLongchamp recently.

Trainer John Gosden said: “Following discussions over the weekend with Mr Oppenheimer it has been decided to route Cracksman to the Coronation Cup.

“He’s come out of his win in France in great shape and should have no worries about going back up to a mile and a half.”
