Musis Amica came from an unpromising position to make it two wins from as many starts, with victory in the Group Three Prix La Grotte at ParisLongchamp this afternoon.

Eight fillies lined-up for this one mile contest.

At the off, it was Magical who led with Armoricaine and Sea Prose.

Settling down, Armoricane went on from Sea Prose and Magical, with Latita settled in mid-division.

Armoricaine turned into the home straight with the lead and kicked, creating a gap for Magical.

However, Sea Prose and Latita quickened best and settled to fight out the finish.

But late on, Musis Amica and Mickael Barzalona burst through and the Godolphin filly shot into the lead.

At the line, Musis Amica had around a length to spare over Sea Prose, with Latita third and Magical fourth.

The Andre Fabre trained daughter of Dawn Approach looked ungainly and sure to improve, given this was just her second ever start.
